Roshan Malhotra (Name Changed), 23, was the most memorable case of Chemical dependence in the Rista Foundation. He was a management student and got tangled in such dependency from his college days. His parents trusted Rista, and he was admitted with a severe dependency situation. It was dreadful to control him at times. Doctors kept him under medication for a long time before using some other therapeutic system. Doctors took small steps to break the wall he builds up around him.
After regular Yoga and Spiritual Programme, he started to behave normally, though he had attacks occasionally. Then when the specialist doctor suggested he enhance his ability to paint through our vocational course. There was no looking back from that time, and he succeeded in starting his studies again and got a reputable job soon after being discharged from Rista. He still visits us to share his journey with other patients to boost their morale.
